<\/p>\n N<\/b><\/span>EW SINGLE FROM DION IS \u201cVISIONARY HEART\u201d\u00a0<\/span><\/b><\/p>\n APRIL 8 RELEASE IN CONJUNCTION WITH TONIGHT SHOW APPEARANCE<\/span><\/b><\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n HOLLYWOOD(Perfect Music Today)3\/29\/16\/–\u201cVisionary Heart,\u201d a track from Dion\u2019s much lauded new album,\u00a0New York Is My Home<\/i>\u00a0<\/b>will be released as a single on April 8.\u00a0 The release date coincides with Dion\u2019s guest appearance on\u00a0The Tonight Show<\/em>\u00a0Starring\u00a0<\/i><\/span>Jimmy Fallon<\/em>\u00a0where he will perform with The Roots. He\u2019s in concert at Brooklyn\u2019s Kings Theatre the next day (Saturday, April 9) on a bill with Ronnie Spector.\u00a0\u00a0<\/span><\/em><\/p>\n \u00a0<\/span><\/em><\/p>\n Dion\u2019s next area appearance is set for Sunday, May 8 when the 92 Street Y present a program entitled\u00a0<\/span><\/em>Dion In Conversation with Anthony DeCurtis<\/em>\u00a0at its\u00a0<\/span><\/em>Buttenwieser Hall.<\/p>\n Tickets for the Kings Theater performance are available here:\u00a0http:\/\/ow.ly\/ZpruZ<\/a><\/p>\n Tickets for the 92Y program are available here:\u00a0http:\/\/ow.ly\/Zprri<\/a><\/p>\n \u00a0<\/span><\/em><\/p>\n \u201cVisionary Heart\u201d was inspired by the life, death and legacy of Dion\u2019s friend Buddy Holly and by the fact that Dion was with him on the last night of his life.\u00a0 Dion has referred to the song as \u201c<\/span><\/em>an imagined conversation between me and Buddy Holly.\u201d<\/p>\n \u00a0<\/span><\/em><\/p>\n He notes, \u201c<\/span><\/em>The Winter Dance Party would be Buddy Holly\u2019s last tour but we didn\u2019t know that. On the bus, on stage, backstage, it was a running conversation between friends. It was an ongoing guitar war, to see who could play loudest and fastest and hold a chord the longest. But the conversation got cut short. This song is my way of carrying it forward, years later. The music lives.
