HOLLYWOOD 9Perfect Music Today) 10\/4\/17\/–John Lodge, legendary bass player, songwriter and vocalist of The Moody Blues, will embark on his first ever solo tour of the U.S. titled \u201cJohn Lodge of The Moody Blues:\u00a0 The 10,000 Light Years Tour\u201d that begins end of October and culminates November 8.\u00a0 Following the release of 10,000 Light Years Ago (his second solo album), which was released in 2015, John toured the U.K., but this tour marks his first in America. https:\/\/www.johnlodge.com\/<\/a><\/p>\n

John Lodge Announces the release of his Live Album: Live from Birmingham, The 10,000 Light Years Tour.<\/p>\n

In September 2016, John Lodge, legendary bass player, song writer and vocalist of The Moody Blues, embarked on a solo tour for the first time in his 50+ year career. John, and his 10,000 Light Years Band, travelled around England, without the huge support team he would normally have with the Moody Blues, playing smaller venues, visiting new places, and the response took his breath way.<\/p>\n

The last night of that tour was at the Birmingham Town Hall, John\u2019s home town, where the concert was filmed and recorded. This show is now being released as a live album, with artwork designed by Roger Dean, and with exclusive tour merchandise from the 2016 tour, plus a few special surprises, also available. Please note some of the limited edition pieces will be held back until 12pm (UK time).<\/p>\n
