Julian Lennon and Mathieu Bitton Photography Exhibit
By Jimmy Steinfeldt
Los Angeles(Perfect Music Today)9/16/16/–This event was off the hook! Julian Lennon, Sean Penn, Bono, The Edge, Apollonia, Jeff Goldblum, Billy Zane, Eric Benet, Danny Minnick, and Randy Jackson were among the celebrated attendees.
Of course Julian was there because much of the exhibit was about his magnificent black and white photography. His exhibit is titled ‘Cycle.’ The subject matter is those who live on the borders of the South China Sea. These limited edition prints are beautifully printed Archival Giclee prints on Canson Infinity Print MaKing Rag.
Completing the other half of the gallery is the work of photographer Mathieu Bitton. His photographs are printed on black and white silver gelatin fiber which convey a look of photography from the 1960s and 70s. His exhibit is titled ‘Darker Than Blue.’
It is an exhibition exploring the realities of daily life in the African-American and black communities throughout the world.
The exhibit runs through October 17
